Eu nu pot sa cred ca acelasi Rick Wright care facea dragostea cu orga aia hammond in Live at Pompeii tocmai a murit de cancer. A fost unul dintre marii clapari care au pus bazele clapei progresive in anii 70, bazat pe orga hammond si sintetizatoare analog alaturi de Rick Wakeman si Keith Emerson. Melodiile clasice ca The Great Gig in The Sky si Echoes nu le voi uita niciodata si de fiecare data cand voi atinge o claviatura imi voi aminti de Richard Wright. RIP. dire_straits Posted September 15, 2008 Share Posted September 15, 2008 (edited) da eu tocmai saptamana care a trecut ascultam in fiecare zi echoes de 3 ori.si povesteam cu un coleg de floyd intens.cum amandoi puneam piese pe repeat si mergea toata ziua.si ca ce pacat ca gilmour a refuzat reuniunea din 2009.dar cred ca stia in ce stare se afla rick si nu vroia sa demascheze.inainte ascultam echoes a 5-a oara azi.si cand am dat refresh.am vazut un comment.rip rick.m-am gandit ca o fi gresit baiatu ,o fi vrut sa spuna syd.dar am cautat si era vorba de rick . (( nu am sa uit niciodata echoes si stringsu din shine si on the turning away. De cand am aflat am in permanenta un nod in gat. Astept sa se ridice norii, sa ma uit in sus si sa-l aud din nou pe Rick Wright. Dragi colegi de forum, in aceste momente imi doresc sa realizam fiecare in parte ca sus pe cer straluceste inca un "crazy diamond" care, alaturi de syd barrett isi va mai indrepta privirea calda spre noi din cand in cand. Sunt onorat ca am fost si suntem contemporani "sonori" cu scrierea istoriei. Dumnezeu sa-l aiba in paza lui pe Rick Right. Multumesc pe fiecare sunet ! OntZ Posted September 16, 2008 Share Posted September 16, 2008 Tocmai a murit omul care a dat toata spatialitatea si profunzimea muzicii Pink Floyd... fara acele armonii la orga si sintetizator, acel sunet caracteristic, acele acorduri peste care dansa chitara lui David, ce ar mai fi fost cea mai mare formatie a tuturor timpurilor? Si cred ca este mare pacat ca abia acum se recunoaste aportul imens al acestui adevarat geniu al muzicii, si ca de cele mai multe ori el a fost uitat, in background. Dar se uita ca fara background nu ar mai fi nici o muzica peste care sa vii cu solo, cu improvizatie. Putem spune ca Richiard Wright a creat nucleul, "interiorul" muzicii acestei mari formatii... fundatia unui castel...
