Sunt imensi, clasici, true pioneers of the genre. De 30 de ani incoace au rupt, iar dintre albumele lor, Sad Wings of Destiny mi se pare cel mai underrated. Au intr'adevar multe piese "grele" si subscriu la de cele enumerate as adauga ca preferinte si Invader; Turbo lover, Metal meltdown,in fine mai toate de pe albumele vechi; da' trebuie sa zic ca de pe la Owen incoace chiar si de la reintoarcerea lui Halford parca nu ma mai incanta in aceeasi masura dpdv al compozitiei. Leather Rebel... sau The Ripper... sau Turbo Lover... etc. Ripper are o voce mult mai buna acum, insa l-as alege pe Halford pentru ca are un mod unic si interesant de a simti muzica. In opinia mea rar au reusit sa duca un album bun cap-coada, iar perioada cu the ripper mi se pare slaba, mediocra. Opinie pur personala. Repet, imi place judas priest! saxoo Posted November 20, 2007 Share Posted November 20, 2007 + je la Priest fansda' cu Halford ( una dintre cele mai tari voci ale genului, alaturi de Dio ; doi vocali, cum ziceti voi - underrated) .... cam asta am remarcat si eu cand i-am vazut in concert la Nissan Arena in Washington DC in iunie 2005 ... desi nu am fost niciodata un fan mare al genului heavy ,iar pe JP ii ascultam mai mult pe la chefurile din liceu , mai ales cu Breaking the law , vazandu-i pe scena am realizat ca sunt un grup de mare valoare si guristul e exceptional ....si chitaristul , Tipton parca ... " underrated" si el ...de fapt mersesem cu un prieten caruia ii place mult heavy ( si care ma invitase de fapt la acel concert )si care fusese si la Metallica de vreo 2 X pana atunci si imi tot pomenea de acele giguri fabuloase ... ei bine , tin minte ca mergand spre casa a ajuns la concluzia ," mai da astia parca au fost mai buni ca si Metallica "....
