The MXR Custom Shop Joe Bonamassa Pelham Blue FET Driver comes in a limited run of only 300 and is exclusively sold on the official Joe Bonamassa store ($ 169.99). This limited edition signature pedal captures the rich, creamy sound of an over driven tube amplifier by cascading an op-amp gain stage into a FET stage. The Joe Bonamassa Pelham Blue FET Driver features a unique circuit design. Step on the FET Driver to thicken up your lead tone with musical, amp-like distortion and sustain without the fragility and inconsistency associated with tubes. The FET Driver features true bypass switching and comes in a heavy duty metal housing that's ready for the road.

"This pedal glued the loose ends of my rig together," Joe says. "It's very focused and very fat, and it cuts through without being too bright. That's a hard sound to achieve."

Here's a little treat you don't get to see up close very often, Mark Mothersbaugh of DEVO "satisfaction" guitar. The only guitar he rocks with DEVO! It's a 80s lefty Squier Strat, with a Boss DS1 and a weird Make Ring Modulator, not sure of the make. The top 2 heavy strings are tuned in unison to A and the bottom 2 high strings are just loose and not tuned to anything. Just for stretchy noise on the song. RIPPING!

The Danelectro 52 Challenger has two channels with a Volume (gain) control for each channel. Both channels share a tone stack with Bass and Treble controls. It also has a shared Master Volume and there are Tremolo intensity and speed controls. The Challenger was one of the first amps to contain a tremolo effect. The Danelectro Challenger went through several different versions, with large cosmetic changes between the various versions. This 1952 is an early version and can command a high price, as it is seen as a desirable by collectors.

The electronics are built into a metal chassis that mounts into the amp cabinet from the back. The main and output transformers are suspended from the chassis floor. The tubes are top mounted in a vertical orientation and form a straight row across the back of the chassis. The tubes are easily accessible. The Challenger contains a single 1 x 15” speaker that provides good response from low-end to highs. The speaker cut-out is uniquely shaped and covered with blonde cross check grill cloth.

The amp cabinet is made of a paper-like MDF. The cabinet can tend to degrade or warp if it gets wet or stored in a humid environment. Owners would be wise to consider making a replacement plywood cabinet. The cabinet is covered with thin burnt orange colour leatherette material. On the top is mounted a single suitcase style thick leather handle.

Here is a cheap way to make guitar humidifiers I learned while working at @thirdcoastguitar #DIY! Go out to wal-whatever and raid their bulk travel toothbrush holders. Get a pack of cheap sponges. Drill holes in the toothbrush holders...don't go crazy with it or hurt yourself. Cut the sponges in strips. Wet the sponges and wring them out real good. They should not be soaked!! Throw a sponge strip in each toothbrush holder half & piece them together. Drop one in the body or two if your guitar is really dry. Or just keep one or two in the case. have to humidify a lot of acoustics during this season of cold and blasting heaters.

Hugh Manson is one of the UK’s most well-respected electric guitar makers, and as well as building a vast array of instruments for John Paul Jones over the last 30 years, he’s also been the Led Zeppelin legend’s personal technician since the mid 1990s.

For the last 30 years or more, Hugh Manson’s daily life has been resolutely dominated by the rather welcome dilemma of what hat to pop on his head next. The highly innovative electric stringed instruments he’s been designing and building since the 1970s are championed by everyone from Muse’s 21st-century guitar hero Matt Bellamy, Jethro Tull’s top guitarist Martin Barre, through to Led Zeppelin’s multi-instrumentalist extraordinaire John Paul Jones, who is Hugh’s longest standing customer. For the last 15 years, Hugh has also co-owned and co-managed Manson’s Guitar Shop in Exeter, which is now arguably the leading guitar shop in the South West of England. And when Hugh isn’t managing staff, designing new instruments, luthiering and repairing guitars or, of course, manning the Manson’s shop floor, he still finds the odd spare week or two to head out across the globe with John Paul Jones whenever he feels the need to tread the stage boards once again.

The Tone Bender was one of the first fuzz tone boxes to come out of England during the booming London music scene in the mid 1960's - the British answer to the American Maestro Fuzz-Tone made by Gibson. There are numerous versions, each with different circuits and different characteristics to the sound, and numerous re branded versions made for third party companies, and numerous clones. Tone Benders were popular pedals among guitarists in the late 1960's through the mid 1970's. They are often associated with the Vox brand, and guitarists like Jimmy Page, Jeff beck, Mick Ronson, and Pete Townshend. They are arguably the pedals with the most interesting and colourful history in the annals of fuzz, and the genesis of the UK stomp box phenomenon. The history is somewhat convoluted, with a host of interrelated individuals and companies, including Jennings Musical Industries, Vox, JMI/Vox engineers Dick Denney and Gary Hurst, the legendary Macaris Music Exchange of London, Sola Sound/Colorsound, The Beatles, The Yardbirds, and Led Zeppelin, among others.

Our goal is to give unprecedented digital control to original and creative analog designs. Our products are not for everyone. They are for people that want something truly different in their stompbox arsenal, and are comfortable paying a little premium for a handmade, U.S manufactured product that is unlike anything else out there. You know, crazy people that desire that certain analog aesthetic in their tone while still demanding the ability to tweak everything, recall those settings at will, and explore new areas of parameter controllability, modulation, and on-the-fly automation.

Wata Fuzz produs de M.A.S.F. (Modern Amphibious Sexcite Forces) http://masf.figity.com/pentru chitarist-vocalista lui Boris http://www.borisheavyrocks.com/ :P

Basically MASF developed wata fuzz for a guitarist "Wata'" of boris but it was the limited product only for boris and their pure-fans. People who bought it are saving money for it and have visited boris concerts actually.

@FiveseveN: Hipsterii cumpără Boss CE-2, ”ram’s head” și alte chestii vintage/rare/legendare. Nu dau ei banii pe asemenea vulgarități (chiar dacă unele au prețuri exorbitante). :D

The Missing Link is a unique and simple clean boost tube preamp and overdrive.

Encased in a virtually indestructible polished stainless steel shell is a shock-mounted subminiature Micro Tube.

These special purpose tubes were developed by the military to operate smoothly under extreme conditions with maximum life span.

Musically they excel with a wide frequency range and lively dynamics unlike other preamp tubes.

Loog started as an academic project in 2010 when Rafael Atijas developed the concept as his Master’s thesis at New York University. The fact that The Loog Guitar was conceived in a university actually explains a lot about the company's culture: our main goal is not to make the most profit, but to offer a product that is unique and well-designed.

In March 2011, The Loog Guitar was launched via Kickstarter, a fundraising website for creative projects. We set the goal to raise $15,000 and instead ended up raising $65,618 from people all over the world who believed in the project and wanted to play a part in bringing this idea to life. Thanks to them, The Loog Guitar is now a reality.
