pe astia i-am stiut separat dar impreuna sunt TNT ......

 

Sunt nemaipomeniti. Unele melodii sunt destul de sumbre dar cred ca le-am ascultat albumele Highwayman 1 si Highwayman 2 pana le-am invatat. Imi place in mod deosebit melodia Jim, I Wore a Tie Today si ti-o recomand.

 

 

Acum citeva zile am citit si eu despre Highwaymen.

Ca sa-mi marturisesc ignoranta, pina la Walk the Line nu stiam mare lucru despre Johnny Cash, iar pe Willie Nelson l-am remarcat prima oara intr-un episod din serialul Monk.

 

Eu l-am descoperit din soundtrack-ul Kill Bill 1 cu melodia A Satisfied Mind si cu timpul am descoperit tot mai multe albume ale lui. A fost foarte prolific. Iti recomand seria American I - American V. Stilul nu mai e atat de country ca in I Walk The Line sau Folsom Prison Blues dar e deosebit. Aaa, si desigur cele doua albume live in inchisoare. Si daca esti curios poti sa vezi si filmul Walk The Line aparut acum cativa ani.

Warganism

Warganism was born in November 1995, as a Bucharest metal group, initially under the name Dies Irae. They recorded the first demo (containing 2 songs) in 1996 and boldly went everywhere to reach their goals - on national and local radio and on the national television, being presented as the new hope for the metal movement in the 90's Romania.

 

Four years of intense live activity followed. Dies Irae was already considered a very powerful live band and they took advantage of this. They recorded two official releases, an EP in 1996 and an LP in 1998. The band continuously evolved and their sound changed in a major way through these years, making Dies Irae one of the best metal bands in Romania.

 

The year 2000 saw the release of the first Dies Irae video, Warganism (broadcasted on on all the major Romanian TV stations), but also it saw a band torn apart, as Victor Stoica went to the United States to complete his studies. Dies Irae invented in 2001 one side project that still resists today - Phobia.

 

In 2005, Dies Irae celebrated a decade of metal and really strong friendship inside the band. Victor Stoica came back to Romania and they recorded in December a new single, Shadow Boxing, to be released in the first months of 2006, along with a new video, to prove all that rock'n'roll ain't gonna go down that easy.

 

And the story is just begining. On September 2008, Dies Irae officially changed its name to Warganism, and will soon release their new studio album called Centipede.

Nocturno Culto (born Ted Skjellum in 1972) is a Norwegian musician, best known as the vocalist, lead guitarist and partial bassist (shared with Fenriz) of the influential black metal band Darkthrone. He has been with the band since 1988. He currently works in Norway as a school teacher, and has two daughters. He has also released a documentary film called The Misanthrope in which he deals with black metal music and life in Norway.

Vlad Tepes was a French black metal band which was formed in Brest in 1992. The name originated from the 15th century Wallachian ruler, the inspiration for Bram Stoker's fictional vampire Dracula. The group belongs to The Black Legions. Worlok Drakksteim also has a side project named Black Murder. He is the composer of that band, while Wlad Drakksteim is the composer for Vlad Tepes. Vlad Tepes were one of the Black legions bands featured in the magazine The Black Plague - First Chapter (And Maybe Last One) in 1995.

Kings of Convenience - duo norvegian: doi baieti cu doua chitari acustice (cateodata ornate cu pian) si doua voci foarte interesante. Foarte reusita mi se pare combinatia de chitari... se completeaza perfect in fiecare piesa

Joanna Newsom - harpareata... vocea ei s-ar putea sa iti placa sau sa te enerveze la culme. Oricum, foarte interesant

 

Tosca Tango Orchestra - nuevo tango. recomand albumul special creat pentru filmul Waking life (de asemenea, recomand si filmul... mi se pare excelenta alegerea acestui gen de muzica pentru acest film)

Am scris-o la recomandari/descoperiri, asa ca banuiesc ca e de inteles ca imi place, dar unora carora le-am recomandat sa asculte au spus ca ar trebui sa inchida gura si sa se concentreze doar la harpa.

Doi... cred ca exagerezi putin, adica nu cred ca e pe gustul tuturor. Cred ca si cei care nu o agreaza merita sa traiasca... nu?!
