barbarossa Posted April 1, 2015 Share Posted April 1, 2015 multe js-uri mai adevarate (nu imi plac modelele cu 24 de taste, arata aiurea si si suna altfel) sunt din basswood. satriani a facut istorie cu js1, js2, js1000 si 1200, toate din basswood. iar vai are n modele, cam cate alder atatea si basswood...omu se mai plictiseste, mai schimba una-alta ca sa se justifice noul model, sa aiba un alt ton etc. nu e un lemn mai bun/prost decat altul. nu astea traditionale cel putin...doar ca suna mai mult sau mai putin diferit, in functie de multi alti factori 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

barbarossa Posted April 1, 2015 Share Posted April 1, 2015 e marketing man totul...nu stii tu ce ton din ce o scos, in studio. doar live. in studio stai linistit ca se trage la greu cu les paul si strat, printre altele...asta e valabil la toti chitaristii...cauta video-uri cu colectiile de chitari si ai sa vezi, si la yngwie si la satriani, si la vai, metallica etc. mai toti au aproape sigur cel putin cate un lp original din 57-59, cel putin un strat din anii 50-60, tele, si multe altele... Airhead Posted April 1, 2015 Share Posted April 1, 2015 (edited) Ibanez-ul are un loc special in sufletul meu, fiind si primul brand de chitara detinut si pentru ca mi-a bantuit visele mult timp (pentru ca Vai si Satriani foloseau Ibanez). Dincolo de marketing si alte floricele, Vai are 2 chitari pe care le foloseste excesiv (EVO si FLO) care sunt alder, insa in filmarile din studio l-am vazut folosind si alte JEM mai vechi, care sunt basswood. Satriani insa in concerte si alte filmari de studio intotdeauna foloseste ultimul tip de chitara signature. Si ele din cate stiu sunt toate basswood. Basswood este hulit (la fel si Ibanez ca si brand) doar pe rgc.ro, in alte parti nu este asa de prost vazut. Sunt chitaristi de renume (Van Halen, Guthrie Govan, etc), firme de renume (printre care Suhr), care folosesc basswood ca si core-wood, si nu au probleme cu el, insa aici pe forum daca nu ai mahon si alder esti un nimeni si nu te pricepi. tone_woods.pdf Edited April 1, 2015 by Airhead 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Da. pt ca la noi se canta multe coveruri si se cauta echipament cat mai apropiat de sursa. Din cauza nivelului de salar scazut putini dintre noi au putut avea de la vasrte mici chitare si ampuri bune incat sa progreseze individual...din pacate. Daca imi dai doua chitare identice, una tei si una arin, pe care sa le cant vreo 2 saptamani, apoi ti le reconosc cu ochii inchisi si acustic si prin amp (acelasi amp, aceleasi setari evident) Ca sa raspund la intrebare: alea misto sunt cu arin si alea najpa cu tei Tu imi spui ca un Epiphone Tony Iommi cu dozele sale signature suna la fel ca Jaydee-ul sau cu aceleasi doze? In ce ii priveste pe Metallica esti pe langa subiect pt ca ei au cantat oficial pe ce chitari au vrut si au aparut chiar si in concerte de N ori cu Gibson. Ar putea sa faca texturile si pe orgi Hammond sau alte minuni. Chitara care conteaza e cea care iese in fata si pe care trage solourile. In texturi pot intra chitari acustice, electrice double six si orice alte minuni. De altfel texturile variaza si o chitara poate sa apara pt doar 2 masuri si sa nu mai apara in veci pe toata piesa. Io in schimb am gasit in unele interviuri interviu artisti care spuneau "pe track-ul X am tras partea A sau B cu chitara Silvertone". Omul spunea ca in toata gramada de "clasice" o chitara "cheesy" da personalitate unei texturi. Adica, Giboanele si Fenderetele cu aere de vedete ar fi fade fara o ciudatenie care sa le faca mai interesante. Foarte multe din chitarile din colectiile personale ale chitaristilor sunt primite ca si cadouri. Asa cum am vazut ca avea YM un Ibanez Steve Vai pe care il tinea literalmente pe jos. L-a primit cadou de la Steve Vai doar nu era sa il vanda. Iar Steve Vai spunea despre colectia lui ca e mereu in schimbare. Mereu da din chitari si apoi apar altele. Deci, faptul ca un artist are anumite chitari in colectia personala nu inseamna ca le foloseste la inregistrari. In schimb stim clar ca Slash foloseste o copie de Gibson si multe lume crede ca el canta pe un Gibson. Am vazut un interviu foarte recent in care spunea clar ca si acum tot pe acea copie de Les Paul inregistreaza. Drept urmare afirmatia ca Gibsonul e folosit pentru un anumit motiv e cel putin dubioasa in situatia in care marii fani ai Gibsonului nu il pot distinge fata de o copie. In plus popularitatea Les Paul-ului a fost reinviata de copia lui Slash. Iar noile modele de Gibson SLash Signature sunt facute dupa minunata copie a lui Slash din ce stiu eu si cred ca stiu bine. In plus afirmatia initiala a domniei tale era ca "asta e valabil la toti chitaristii". Si se baza pe faptul ca le au in colectie. Daca le au in colectie nu inseamna ca le folosesc la ceva. Multe din ele sunt amintiri sau cadouri sau au ajuns in colectia lor in urma unor circumstante. Ar mai fi multe de spus dar nu ma obosesc sa ma lupt cu dumele tale proprii. In ce ilpriveste pe Slash el are niste contracte cu Gibson. In interviul foarte recent dintr-o revista de chitara a spus clar ca TOATE inregistrarile le-a facut cu marea copie. In plus e oficial ca Gibson Slash Signature e copie dupa copia lui Slash. Eram sigur ca vei fi dornic sa insisti in ignoranta ta. Sa-ti fie de bine. Nu o sa ma injosesc sa continui o discutie cu tine. Tot ce stii tu e ca toate inregistrarile cu chitari din lumea asta s-au facut cu Gibson si Fender si nu exista alte chitari dar nu esti capabil sa recunosti cand a folosit Slash copia lui mareata de Les Paul si cand a folosit Gibson. Ignorance is bliss. In plus nu stiu ce stii tu despre cum se fac "texturile" pe care le folosesc chitaristii atunci cand is fac sectiunea de armonie. Dar avand in vedere ca ai evitata subiectul pot sa consider ca nu prea stii despre ce e vorba. Dar daca apare o chitara Gibson sau Fender in tot amestecul ala sari de cur in sus ca "uite Fender, uite Gibson". Ca un fan disperat. Ce sa zic FAN DISPERAT Fender si Gibson. In mod normal as fi cautat interviul si as fi pus link pt ca mai am revista in format electronic si trebuie doar sa trec prin ea putin ca sa gasesc. Dar avand in vedere faptul ca ignori orice argumente si esti doar un fan disperat Fender-Gibson, nu imi bat capul. Continua sa traiesti in lumea viselor Fender-Gibson. Te comporti ca un tip pe care nu il baga nimeni in seama si atunci incepi sa te legi de cineva. Cu cat tinta e mai de anvergura cu atat mai tare te legitimeaza pe tine. Fabulezi la greu si te faci ca nu ai inteles ce a scris omul de la bun inceput. Esti complet pe langa subiect si asta e putin spus. Pana una alta eu nu am mai dat nici un fel de reply. Bineinteles luand in calcul si toate celelalte ingrediente miraculoase (..lemn , sarma , vopsea , lac , ..) pe langa "mana" . Pai daca are un singur "TON" o fi bine ? Ce poater sa insemne ..? Lipsa de imaginatie , simplism, amatorism,nepricepere ,lipsa de "feeling", imitator.mimetism ..cititor de retzete ??? Odata ce cineva se vrea artist solist /interpret care vrea sa cante muzica proprie .muzica instrumentala la chitara cred ca ar fi cam groaznic sa aiba un singur "TON" ( sau doar doua ). Mi-a venit o imagine ..... o orchestra simfonica care solistul canta la fluier si este acompaniart de orchestra formata toata numai din fluiere toate exact la fel . Hendrix nu mai stia ce sa faca ca sa obtina diferite tonuri ca sa formeze o "orchestra" numai din chitare . Si eu eram fan inrait ..numai Gibson LP si numai Fender Strat . Regretatul meu elev si prieten Perin "@Boitza" Boian care a ajuns un chitarist extraordinar( Beta ,KPK,Rosu si Negru ) dar si un foarte bun inginer de sunet care a produs cateva inregistrari de discuri si pentru unele trupe si in tara ( IRIS, Pro Muzica ....) ... Cu una din ocazii cand venit acasa din germania in vizita ne-am dus sa cumpere o chitara acustica ,...am fost mirat de ce cumpara o rabla din placaj ,chitara cea mai ieftina si cea mai proasta ..la care mi-a explicat ca are de toate in studio dar are nevoi si de sounduri "noi " , interesante , surprinzatoare , exotice . diferite ...asa ca este nevoie si de un sound din acesta de "placaj" fiecare sound este bun , artistul il incadreaza unde este nevoie ...si atat ...mult mai tarziu cand am avut posibilitatea sa-mi fac un " PC homestudio " am inteles si eu cum e cu "tonurile " .. Eu am inteles ca se discuta desp[re chitara , lemnul Mahon ,Tei ,Carpen ..Nuc ..etc adica despre chitara si "TON" nu despre chitaristi . Despre necesarul de TONURI se poate vorbii , cate "TONURI" are nevoie un chitarist .. Un Bluesist .1 ton este suficient Un "@ Slash " Trei tonuri .. ,,.... multi altii Hendrix ....nenumarate tonuri Diferenta ar fi intre un compozitor ,inovator , interpret ....si i un ..solist interpret chitarist de "backing" care canta un singur gen muzical intr-o singura trupa .. Si un chitarist "multifunctional " de studio dar pana si unul de "birt " are nevoie de mai multe ..decat un singur ton si un singur stil .
