Richard Kaplan a fost proprietaru' unui studio de inregistrari (Indigo), studio care a lucrat cu nume mari gen Korn, Slipknot, Sepultura, etc... Din pacate Kaplan a murit in 2014. Bun, tipu' a construit o pedala pe care a denumit-o "Bigger Muff" (de fapt au fost doua pedale), pedala a fost folosita de Sepultura pt. a inregistra albumul "Roots", a mai fost folosita de Korn, Slipknot, Limp Bizkit, etc... "Pedala" ii asta: Nu a ramas o schema, nimic... A raspuns unui e-mail acum cativa ani si a spus ca a facut o pedala pt. Korn si una pt. Sepultura (pt. concerte). Ulterior a vandut studioul cu tot cu pedala. No bun, schema ii in principiu un Ram's Head Big Muff cu (citez): "a single high gain tube distortion stage" Transformatorul are urmatoarele caracteristici: - primar 115/230V - secundar 2x12V/50mA si 200V/100mA Se pare ca trioda este conectata dupa Q2. Datele sunt luate de pe un alt forum, cineva a realizat pedala dar nu a dat deocandata mai multe detalii, se pare ca a alimentat-o cu o sursa pt. tuburi Nixie ce scoate 190V in gol. Problema este ca nu sunt destule date legate de etajul cu tub, cel care a realizat-o a pus sugestiv schema unui etaj de la Soldano, insa probabil sunt unele diferente la valori. C7 (10uF) intra direct in grila, fara rezistenta de 470k - rez. din anod ii 220k - cond. de cuplaj ii 3N3 - in catod avem doar o rez. de 1k5, fara cond. - rez. de 1M de la iesire la masa nu exista - tensiunea anodica ii 200V - avem o rez. de 220k din colectoru' primului tranzistor in colectoru' ultumului tranzistor - pam-pam Arata ca ceva foarte simpatic de experimentat dupa ce termin Traforaju'.
