Tibetan spruce + ovangkol 

I like how the tibetan spruce has a darker color, even the shavings look like they've been cut and oxidated for months... 

It has a great tap tone. Very well sustained. Very soft, softer than sitka, kinda like engelamann but not white. Looks like a sitka that's had coffee for the past hundred years.

 

Tibetan cedar plus western red cedar for a  classical

This cedar stinks up the house. It's awesome. The tibetan sounds dull and it's heavier than the western red.

 

Ziricote/padauk back and sides with a sitka top for the Tropical Emperor 3 Archtop

 

Slim 17in for Curtis braces done.
