If you've had a successful connection before the UPDATE then please check and change the MIC PRIVACY settings if necessary and set to ALLOW APPS TO ACCESS YOUR MICROPHONE: ON.
(See instructions and graphic below for adjusting MIC PRIVACY SETTINGS)

How to control which apps can use the microphone

  1. Go to Start , then select Settings  > Privacy > Microphone.
  2. Choose your preferred setting for Allow apps to access your microphone.
  3. Under Choose which apps can access your microphone, turn on or off the individual settings for apps and services.

Once MIC PRIVACY has been changed, reconnect a USB 2.0 CABLE to the ROLAND BOSS device and to the WINDOWS 10 COMPUTER, restart the BOSS TONE STUDIO Software Editor Application and choose the correct device first in the list and press OK, this should alleviate the CONNECTION FAILURE.

dacă face și pe alt calc și ai garanție send it. sper că ai driverul ăsta: https://www.boss.info/global/support/by_product/katana-50/updates_drivers/b203b755-260c-4902-acd0-df3b76d7d412/

eventual contactează suportul boss. dacă ai și alt driver ASIO sau ceva instalat pe lângă, scoate-l de tot, dezinstalează complet și urmează pașii de instalare din manual de la zero, cu driverul ăla de mai sus.
