I guess there could have been three diferent histories: - "Steve Vai" way of life : Ibanez would have hired him and there would be expensive ads and marketings on every page of every magazine. He would have spend his next 5 years playing for 2 or 3 weel know bands and by 25 he would have a succesfull and rich solo career - "Richie Kotzen" way of life : Ok, you are teenager god. You have eveything your masters had, and actually more. You spend some years with a mass media band (call it Poison or D.L.Roth) but... you don´t have the Ibanez guys behind u, so you will just have one ad every month or two on just 1 or 2 magazines. Un chitarist si compozitor exceptional, cu o soarta cumplita. Povestea lui imi aduce aminte de cartea (si filmul) "Flori pentru Algernon" - tragedia de avea totul, si de a pierde apoi in fiecare zi cate putin, pana nu mai ramane nimic. Nici nu stii ce sa zici...e un miracol ca traieste de atatia ani cu boala asta....dar in acelasi timp cred ca ar fi mai bine poate sa se duca....nu cred ca ceea ce traieste el se mai poate numi viata. Guest spyked88 Posted August 11, 2006 Share Posted August 11, 2006 Citind câteva din textele de pe site-ul www.jasonbecker.com , am ajuns la concluzia că omul şi-a dorit extrem de mult să trăiască (şi s-a zbătut pentru asta), motiv pentru care e încă în viaţă. Mă îndoiesc că Jason Becker şi-ar fi dorit vreodată să fie eutanasiat voluntar sau ceva de genul ăsta. random fact: şi Stephen Hawking este bolnav de ALS şi a făcut o grămadă de chestii în domeniul fizicii, în ciuda stării precare de sănătate. Guest Steven Posted August 11, 2006 Share Posted August 11, 2006 Si in plus, bolnav fiind, Jason a reusit sa compuna muzica de pe albumul Perspective.Pe album insa, alti muzicieni au cantat compozitiile in locul sau, el fiind aproape incapabil sa mai tina chitara in mana.Se zvoneste chiar, ca intr-un mod asemanator, Jason va lansa un nou album in viitor...
