It is a Free Operating system intended for musicians and users in general. It also contains an enormous collection of free programs. The system will boot from your CD/DVD drive, with no need to install anything on your hard disk. The programs currently support the Spanish and English languages.

This project was concieved to provide free software tools primarily for Musicians and Audio operators using compatible i386 computer equipment.

You can:

    * Master for CD [1] (http://www.pc-musica.com.ar/musix/img/ayuda-Jamin-en-accion.png)

    * Publish musical scores [2] (http://www.pc-musica.com.ar/musix/img/ayuda-Rosegarden-editor-de-partituras1.png)

    * Print musical scores [3] (http://www.pc-musica.com.ar/musix/img/rosegarden-partitura-vista-preliminar.png)

    * Create MIDI Instruments [4] (http://www.pc-musica.com.ar/musix/img/ayuda-gnu-musix-swami.png)

    * Record and reproduce Audio and MIDI [5] (http://www.pc-musica.com.ar/musix/img/ayuda-Qsynth+qjackctl+rosegarden.png)

    * Edit and mix Audio and MIDI tracks with Multitrack Sequencers/Editors[6] (http://www.pc-musica.com.ar/musix/img/musix-025-ardour.png)

    * Perform noise-reduction to recover recordings [7] (http://www.pc-musica.com.ar/musix/img/ayuda-gnu-musix-gwc.jpg)

    * Use effects in real time with any device (microphone, line, etc.) [8] (http://www.pc-musica.com.ar/musix/img/ayuda-gnu-musix-creox1.png)

    * Connect a keyboard or another MIDI device and control the available software synthesizers [9]

Dupa asta, instalati jack - jackit.sf.net.

"JACK was designed from the ground up for professional audio work, and its design focuses on two key areas: synchronous execution of all clients, and low latency operation."

Audacity:

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Bafta!

tux rocks!
