  2. verifica driverul: versiune, eventual fa update la driver, incearca si alta versiune de driver. De asemenea vezi cat e bufferul setat, verifica la diferite buffer size. Daca ai windows XP, cauta pe net ce setari se pot face pentru a optimiza sunetul in windows XP. Eventual schimba shi pozitia placi pe un alt port USB.
  3. Am gasit o chestie interesanta gen intrebare-raspuns test comparativ FIREWIRE-USB 2.0. Sper sa nu va deranjeze ca nu e tradus, lipsa de timp: Question: USB 2.0 is faster than FireWire...right? Answer: No, actually FireWire is faster than USB 2.0. Question: Hold on...USB 2.0 is a 480 Mbps interface and FireWire is a 400 Mbps interface, how can FireWire be faster? Answer: Raw throughput rating numbers alone don't tell the whole story, as explained below. The throughput numbers would lead you to believe that USB 2.0 provides better performance. There are a few applications where it matters, and one of them is audio. An audio interface is sending a constant stream of sound data back to the computer. It rarely uses up the whole pipe, and so it’s still possible for other devices to talk — but the odds of collisions are higher, and if you get too much other traffic the errors can pile up beyond the computer’s ability to stay “caught upâ€� and you lose some sound data.   4. Achizitionez o placa de sunet externa firewire insa nu am conector Firewire la calculator. Intrebandu'ma ce placa este mai buna am inceput sa sondez NETUL cu forumurile, review-urile si magazinele sale. Informatia acumulata vreau sa o impartasesc cu voi, asha ca: Pentru inceput exista (din cate stiu eu) doua tipuri de placi de sunet pe firewire: Placi cu rate de transfer de date: pana la 400 Mbps si placi de sunet cu rate de transfer de date: pana la 800 Mbps (acestea fiind foarte scumpe). Avand in vedere acest lucru, dupa cum era si normal, exista doua tipuri de adaptoare PCI-FIREWIRE: pe 400 Mbps si 800 Mbps,acestea din urma fiind ceva mai scumpe ca celelalte (am gasit si adaptor hibrid). De asemenea apar diferente si in functie de numarul de porturi externe( uneori interne). dar acest lucru nu influenteaza semnificativ pretul. Daca ne uitam putin la pretul adaptoarelor vom vedea ca exista diferente mari intre placi: OEM - PCI Firewire IEEE 1394 adapter 4 porturi - aprox 13 dolari SIIG - FireWire 3-Port PCI i/e (two external and one internal) 1394 (FireWire) adapter - aproximativ 54 dolari mai sunt adaptoare care depasesc 90 de dolari Acum vin intrebarile care au macinat mintea mea timp de o zi: Ce face diferentza intre cele doua adaptoare? E din nou povestea cu "scula de firma"? Sau calitatea este cea care primeaza? Dupa indelungi cautari am aflat urmatoarele: Placile mai scumpe au cipset TEXAS INSTRUMENT (de care se spune ca e foarte bun si compatibil cu mai toate placile de sunet) Placile ieftine au cipset VIA (unii spun ca au avut probleme cu placile de sunet, insa aceste adaptoare sunt ok la transferul Video - pt cei care editeaza video) Sper ca am facut putina lumina in privinta acestor adaptoare si sper ca mai completati topicul cu informatii pe care le considerati voi utile. PS: am gasit un website romanesc care vinde un adaptor cu cipset TEXAS Instrument (convins de asta dupa ce am cautat coduri de cipset pe net de am avut acrun in gura) la un pret derizoriu (17.10 USD). Oare nu stiu ce vand sau e tzeapa? Probabil o sa cumpar de la ei si o sa va spun daca am luat tzeapa sau nu. Daca stiti altceva legat de acest cipset, va rog sa nu ma lasati sa cumpar adaptorul!
  5. Am mai citit pe alte forumuri straine ca ar fi mai bune cele cu chipset Texas Instruments fata de cele cu Via. Cipsetul sa faca diferenta? Websiteurile romanesti ce vand astfel de adaptoare nu precizeaza ce fel de cipset au.
  6. Mdah, interesant REAPER 3.72. Seamana f mult cu Samplitude. Acum mai am o nedumerire. Adaptorul PCI-Firewire. Am gasit doua extreme: OEM - PCI Firewire IEEE 1394 adapter 4 porturi - 42.10lei aprox (15 dolari) SIIG - FireWire 3-Port PCI i/e (two external and one internal) 1394 (FireWire) adapter - 54.99$ Dolari Ce face diferentza intre cele doua adaptoare? E din nou povestea cu "scula de firma"? Sau calitatea este cea care primeaza? Sigur ca nu doresc sa arunc bani aiurea pe fereastra. Mai ales ca diferenta este una de aproximativ 130.00 Lei. Aveti idee?
  7. In primul rand va multumesc pt rabdare si pentru sfaturi! Recunosc ca DAW Reaper nu am incera inca, dar PreSonus Studio One cred ca e cel mai fiabil program de genul asta...problema e ca in Cubase lucrez de cativa ani si cunostintele acumulate in acest timp nu valoreaza aproape nimica in alt DAW (nu mai am rabdare sa o iau de la inceput ) Am intrat shi eu pe niste websiteuri shi am citit putin despre adaptoare PCI --> firewire, niste review-uri, etc. Am vazut ca pretul la PCI Firewire e undeva intre 35 - 50 ron (am gasit asta la 42 ron: PCI Firewire IEEE 1394 adapter 4 porturi - sper sa fie bun. Poate ma dumiriti voi... sa o luam pe rand: Detin - placa de sunet M Audio DELTA 1010LT poza PRO: o am de 4 ani shi am reusit sa inregistrez piesele la un nivel acceptabil CON: odata cu noile softuri gazda shi cu noile VST-uri, placa nu mai face fatza *apar pops, and cracks, and diverse zgomote ciudate daca trag mai mult de 5-6 trackuri in cubase (nu deodata...chiar daca placa permite sa inregistrezi mai multe trackuri deodata, nu am folosit aceasta capacitate si nici nu voi folosi pe viitor - asta fiind un aspect de care tin cont la achizitionarea urmatoarei placi de sunet). Prima data am crezut ca, cauza problemelor-zgomotelor sunt pe rand: driverele, softul gazda, IRQ-urile destinate placii de sunet, ramii, windows xp care nu recunoaste "practic" mai mult de 2 GB Ram, diavolul. Incet am eliminat pe rand toate aceste probleme. Acum am un avion de PC Intel Core i5, cu 4 GB ram, windows 7, latest new delta-asio drivers, Cubase cu licentza, inginerii IT facute de chinezi batrani citite shi aplicate de mine pt a creste performanta calculatorului pt sunet, pact cu aghiutza, dar tot degeaba. E adevarat ca acum la 10-11 trackuri apar pops and ckracs, iar latentza e mult mai mica, insa problema exista! Indiferent ce fac cu ASIO Buffer size! Asa ca singura concluzie logica este faptul ca singura vinovata de toate astea e placa mea de sunet. Deci...vreau alta...ghinion! AM citit zeci de pagini legate de placile de sunet pe USB 2.0 si de cele firewire. Am o varza in loc de cap shi problema mea tot nu am rezolvat'o. Si mai am un buget de 200-300 euro. 1.port PCI - astea cad din start, am avut shi nu mai vreau! 2.USB 2.0 - a) NATIVE INSTRUMENTS AUDIO KONTROL 1 200euro poza PRO:are toate functiile de care am eu nevoie: 24/192, AD/DA-high end Cirrus Logic 103 dB, iesire casca cu vol reglabil, 1 canal mic (si phantom), 1 canal chitara + o chestie foarte tare un buton rotativ si inca3 presetabile midi ce pot fi programate sa controleze functiile din Cubase (softul gazda) sau alte diverse softuri, VST-uri etc) CON: nu are alimentare independenta, deci se alimenteaza prin cablul USB - in acest sens existand teori cum ca nu e bine, apare latentza shi ghici ce altceva: pops and cracks , slab suport drivere pt Windows 7 LEXICON I·ONIX U22 269 euro poza PRO: tot ce am nevoie + alimentare independenta (si trebuie sa recunosc ca arata bine scula) CON: teorii care sustin faptul ca rata de transfer la USB 2.0 nu ar fi ceia ce se prezinta de catre producatori (adicaUSB 2 are o rata maxima de transfer de 480Mb/s, Firewire de 400 Mb/s) ci in realitate rata de transfer este mult mai mica si INCONSTANTA fatza de firewire, si pretul ceva mai ridicat fatza de precedenta placa, minus control software 3.FIREWIRE - TC ELECTRONIC DESKTOP KONNEKT 6 187 euro poza PRO: tot ce am nevoie + alimentare independenta, buton de volum practic CON: nu am port fireware pe PC motiv pentru care trebuie sa cumpar o placa adaptor PCI --> firewire, teorii conform cu faptul ca placile adaptor PCI --> firewire sunt tot placi PCI adica trebuie alocat un IRQ placii, adica interfereaza cu alte parti hardware din PC, iarasi rami, din nou Pops and cracks and problems! Va rog frumos, e cineva care sa ma scoata din nebulosa in care ma aflu? Bugetul e de 200-300 euro si NU doresc sa investesc mai mult. Alegerile sunt cele prezentate mai sus, dupa indelungi cumparatii, forum read, etc, motiv pentru care nu doresc alternative *(sau macar sa fie foarte bune shi motivate optiunile) placa adaptor PCI --> firewire e scumpa? E asa cum se spune despre ele? Sunt mai multe modele? Trebuie sa tin cont de ceva anume? Alte sfaturi utile? Va multumesc pentru rabdare!
