It records beautifully, especially the acoustic part. It has a flamed maple top, mahogany back, mahogany neck and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard. It uses a combination of 2 (passive) humbucker pickups and a set of redesigned PRS/LR Baggs piezo system (one per string) for great tonal variety. You’ll have the option of running two cables out of this guitar or running a single cable and blending the piezo output with the onboard humbuckers. As mentioned, it's a great tool for recording in the studio, but perfect for live shows as well. It holds the tuning very well and intonation is handled great. Frets (jumbo) are in perfect condition. Sound wise, it feels refined, good articulation, with a pretty broad spectrum. The piezo side (which works as a blend even on main cable) gives it a unique character which is great for playing an e-bow on, or giving the impression of a doubled acoustic. it's a guitar that has huge potential and fills up the space greatly. The PRS is in perfect functioning condition, but it does have its battle scars. There are a few dings on the back and a couple on the edge of the guitar. There is also a small ding on the very top of the headstock, and some buckle wear, and overall scuffs and scratches. Nothing that affects the playability in any way. The neck has been satiated for a better/faster feel. The back cover is hand signed by Paul Reed Smith - but this does not affect the tone The neck feels more like a Pattern rather than a Pattern Thin. It weighs around 3,4-3,5 kg The original case and case candy are included but as shown, the case has a dent (approx 7cm), scratches and the leatherette is ripped in few places. These are purely aesthetical, and the case functions perfectly fine. Ask any questions you might have 3
