“Istoria” trupei Staccato începe cu mult înainte de a deveni proiectul lui Alex G. Mihai, mai exact în anul 1988, în orasul

Vulcan, fiind înfiinat de Cojocaru Florea – tobe ajutat de Dan Prica – chitara; Florin – bas, Ovidiu – chitara.

Grupul a avut o existena meteorica, deoarece Ovidiu paraseste prematur cele lumesti, iar ceilaltii membri iau drumul centrelor universitare.

 

În 1990-1991, pentru a doua oara, Staccato renaste. De aceasta data cu un sound mult mai modern. Din aceasta formula faceau parte Cristi Gram - chitara (actualmente membru Phoenix), Danny Catineanu – tobe, Misu - bas, Chelu - voce si Dan Sârbu – chitara. În aceasta formula, trupa activeaza sub pâna în anul 1993, Cristi Gram si Chelu devin membrii formatiei Fatum.

 

La initiativa lui Alex, în 2002, Staccato ia fiinta pentru a treia oara. Trupa urmareste abordarea unui metal simfonic, cea mai mare inflenta a lui Alex fiind chitaristul de origine suedeza Yngwie Malmsteen. Prima formula Staccato i-a avut în componenta pe Alex G. Mihai – chitara si voce, Imi Varga – bas, Sorin Fador – clape, Dibo Medre – tobe si Alex Gheorghe – chitara. Dupa o perioada de timp Alex Gheorghe paraseste trupa, iar Staccato continua în formula de patru, Alex, Imi, Sorin si Dibo, pana in 2005 când Alex îsi muta domiciliul in Timisoara. Staccato isi defineste stilul într-un metal simfonic cu inflente de extrem.

 

În martie 2006 Gaby paraseste trupa, iar dupa o scurta perioada de timp Sorin si Dimitri parasesc si ei trupa. Lui Alex si Paul li se alatura Kara – voce, Andrei Ionescu – bas, Vlad Toma – clape si Gaby Koncz care se reîntoarce. Odata cu mutarea lui Alex la Timisoara, formula trupei Staccato se schimba, având componenta urmatoare: Alex G. Mihai – chitara si voce, Paul Bologan – tobe, Gaby Koncz – chitara, Sorin Prejban – bas si Dimitri Bodarev – clape.

The story of Shadowsail begins on the rainy Monday morning of November 17 2003, in a basement, with the original line-up formed by Daniel Szabo (vocals), Cristian Cristea (guitars), Valer Florian (bass), Lorand Csapo (keyboards) and Razvan Moca (drums). In the same day the band performs at the "Autumnalia" Student Festival under the "lighter" name of "Sail", alongside with bands like Voices of Silence, Seven, Black Piano.

Due to the envolvement of the members in other musical projects (Guerrillas, Antidot, Siaj), the year 2004 brought up a single stage performance on March 11 as opening act for Hans Knall, Seven and CASH.

The following year (2005) meant for Shadowsail a new place for rehearsals, a number of concerts alongside with Negura Bunget, Voices Of Silence, Guerrillas, Seven, Hathor and many others, an attempt to make a video (postponed due to some quality issues of the recorded material) and a change in the line-up meaning the departure of the keyboards player, Lorand and the coming of Razvan Ovidiu Nistor.

 

But it seems that the most proficient and resourceful period of time is the beginning of 2006, when Shadowsail sustained the opening acts for Legacy Of Hate (Austria) and Korozy (Bulgaria). They also started recordings for their first demo and caught the attention of a well-known romanian rock magazine, "Maximum Rock Magazin", for which they gave an interview and appeared with a song on the romanian underground compilation of the magazine named above.

---- D I S P E R S I A ----

 

 

Trupa Dispersia a fost infintata de catre Ady Cernea in luna mai 2005. Pana acum trupa a suferit mai multe modificari in componenta,iar cea actuala este: Ady Cernea – Voce/chitara; Ana Maria Farkas – voce; Georgiana (Jojo) Moldovan – clape; Ovidiu Hodrea – tobe si Tudor Badescu – bass.

Pe plan concertistic Dispersia a avut aparitii pe scenele din Cluj si din tara incapand cu luna iulie al anului 2005.Lugoj,Sibiu, Brasov,Baia-Mare,Caransebes sunt orasele in care Dispersia a concertata in anii 2005-2006.In Cluj Napoca am concertat in cluburile Music Pub; Roland Garros;Autograf; Pub Zone,plus 2 aparitii la Biker Fest 2005 ( Valea Ierii mai 2005 si Gilau septembrie 2005).

 

In prezent Dispersia este pe punctul de a finaliza inregistrarea a 10 piese in studio si lansarea primului album.

The band started out in November 2005 and since then it's been playing an original form of metal with power, heavy, gothic and even doom influences. Up to now a list of eight songs has been composed and Vespera performed at East West Fest Romania 2006 but also in Cluj on the same stage with Voices of Silence, Grimus, C.a.s.h. and in Baia Mare and Cavnic.
