Marshall Amplification plc is pleased to announce that Joe Satriani will be using a Marshall backline for new group Chickenfoot. The super group, made up of four rock legends, started the European leg of their world tour on June 20th and will be heading back over to the States in August to continue . Joe contacted Marshall Amplification prior to the first show at the Nova Rock Festival in Austria in order to check out some new Marshall gear. Marshall took some amps to the rehearsals, and Joe loved the tone of the JVM410H. The man himself had this to say, "I'm just looking to achieve the best guitar sound every moment I'm plugged in and that brought me back to Marshall Amps." Joe used the JVM410H for the show at the Nova Rock Festival and will be visiting the Marshall factory this week to have a look around and try out different speaker cabinets. Chickenfoot recently released their debut album and has taken the States by storm, going in at number 4 on the Billboard Album charts. Asemanarea cu Ac/dc este destul de izbitoare, desi sunt putiiin mai heavy. Eu fiind mai slabut la astea grele cu chitara l-am vazut pe Timmons pe youtube cantand cu Steve Vai piesa Beat it. Apoi m-am uitat pe pagina lui Timmons sa vad daca are ceva album si am vazut Resolution. IO credeam ca e primul lui album. Am vazut dupa aia ca are vreo 8 si Resolution e al 9-lea. Imi place f mult. E pe linia care imi place mie si foloseste un sunet foarte gras ceea ce e super. AT-1, ala din bridge chiar suna inchis, uneori insa suna cam prea infundat. Imi place. Foarte, foarte tare, chiar m-a captivat si m-am uitat la tot. Desi, cam mult Vai si prea putin Timmons. Pacat ca n-am mai auzit nimic despre ei de atunci. Crossfade - Am dat de ei din greseala si mi-au placut la nebunie. Foarte tari baietii. Pacat ca nici de ei n-am mai auzit nimic de 2-3 ani. sakavaka Posted January 29, 2010 Share Posted January 29, 2010 (edited) Daca tocmai am ratacit aici, la ora asta de noapte, va impartasesc si eu o descoperire recenta Este vorba despre ARK, o trupa despre care cred ca nu prea a auzit nimeni (sau gresesc oare? :-??). Insa cu dor 88 000 de vizionari la "Queen of Blades" se vede ca nu sunt apreciati la adevarata lor valoare. Trupa se numeste AVATAR (nu dati search pe youtube "avatar" pentru ca o sa dati de film ). Sunt o trupa sudeza de Death Metal Melodic, ultimul lor album este chiar foarte reusit.
