Daca am timp pe astea le termin repede. Problema e umiditatea, imi trebuie un dezumidificator mare pe timp de vara. Ma gandesc ca okoume-ul as putea sa il folosesc ca top. Martin face topuri din mahon, iar asta e un mahon mai light, deci mai bun ca top. Dar tot nu la fel de rezonant ca un molid...Plus ca arata bine un set cu side-urile alea. Nu am folosit ulei ca in french polish, ci doar am aplicat straturi peste straturi cu pauze de cateva ore, fiecare parte a durat cam 2 zile. Neck si spate ieri si azi. Nu iese uniform astfel ci arata mai mult ca un instrument vechi. Nu imi plac finisurile plasticoase oricum, asa ca nu o sa fac cu tehnica cu ulei chitarele decat daca plateste lumea mai mult pt ca dureaza cam o luna si ceva sa termini o chitara cu shellac french polish. I-am pus end wedge si are bracing exact ca la padauk, doar ca topu e sitka rosu. Rozeta e multicolora, are purfling rosu si va avea un fretboard cu norisori- yes, it's a girlie guitar.La zebrawood mi-a luat trei zile sa-i fac fretjob. A iesit bine pana la urma, dar m-a plictisit enorm. Acum pot sa incep sa-i dau cu shellac. Am amber shellac. Si mi-am luat si carpa.
