Dear Sirs, Within several years in different Russian Music Forums we are trying to solve mystery concerning instrumental melody "Cîmpia Sub Lunã" performed by Romanian group Sincron in 1963 - 1968 (?)This melody was very popular in Russia at end of 60 - beginning 70. We tried to contact former leader of group Mr Cornel Fugaru but failed. We even know biography of Mr Fugary, names of members of Sincron group..... but cannot obtain any information of instrumental "Cîmpia Sub Lunã".We cannot find this melody in discography of Sincron. IT IS REALLY MYSTERY !!!Romanian internet radio RADIO 3 NET placed this melody as performed by Sincron but no mention what LP or EP. We sent letter to them but no reply. We have this melody in mp3 with bitrate 128 ( I can send you or download on rapidshare and give you link) but still cannot find out:1. Was this melody recorded on EP or LP ?2. Who did really perform this melody (under other information it was performed by GROUP OF YOUNG GUITARISTS LED BY Bebe Corneliu and music was written by Camelia Dascalescu ) ? We'll be obliged for any useful information. May be you can give us right answer or tell to whom we can contact (may be any person collecting old EP and LP etc). Sorry for possible trouble. KInd regards, Vara vedere Yuri A (Moscow-Sydney)yan2003@front.ru

Well, Sincron's song "Campia sub luna" is not included on any of the band's albums. It can be only found as a "radio recording". The song is actually the instrumental version of another track called "Sa-ntrebi rasaritul de luna", written by composer Camelia Dacalescu and arranged by Cornel Bebe Fugaru, the leader of Sincron (Al. Arion-lead guitar). The original version of "Sa-ntrebi rasaritul de luna" can be found on an old Electrecord EP by Gigi Marga (Te rog sa-mi scrii/Sa-ntrebi rasaritul de luna-EX/NM45-EDC673) or on the "Raza mea de soare" CD by Dan Spataru, released in 2005.

I hope the mistery was solved. :)

sa-ntrebi rasaritul de luna=(you should) ask the moonrise
